Gareth Stone

Gareth is an experienced independent Architect with significant experience working in architecture & design within Cyber Security and general ICT Infrastructure domains. His most recent work has been spent at very large well known New Zealand organisations driving & delivering their multiyear Cyber Security Programmes. He has spent significant time within the Health, Emergency Services, Telecommunications and Finance sectors in his 25+ years within the industry.

Experienced in the creation and delivery of short, mid and long-term strategy, defining roadmaps, carrying out risk assessments & reviews, providing architectural guidance and being involved in policy and process creation. With a strong delivery focus, his involvement in helping teams to solve problems ensures that the right outcomes are achieved.

Confident in working with C-level executives right through to engineering teams, Gareth is able to work across different groups to ensure that his experiences can be leveraged across those various groups.

 

As an independent, he is more than comfortable working with a clients existing providers (technology & services). He also has good relationships with different security partners that he can provide insights and recommendations on if required.
